So, I don’t think it is a fair tournament, if the prizes for consolation keep changing. One time it was you were playing for comedy works tickets, another time you are playing for essentially, bragging rights. The reason why I am asking is at the last tournament at Mile High, (not july 30th) I was in a consolation tournament. The prize ended up being a piece of paper for 1000 more in chips in another tournament and that was it. But then I find out later there is a 25 dollar prize to the winner of the heads-up tournament (that was not told to everyone) I don’t see how this is fair to all competitors. Now what is done is done, but if I unfortunately, end up in a consolation tournament, I want to be playing for more than a piece of paper that virtually has no meaning to me. Comedy works tickets are nice, so are movie tickets, so is 25 dollars. So please keep it consistent and worthwhile to play in the consolation games. Thank you. Other than that, I have enjoyed playing in the tournaments, for the most part(separate issue)
Thank you for your post and bringing this to our attention. We can understand how this may be frustrating. The consolation tables are for the participants that get knocked out of the traditional tournament and want to continue playing. MyBank2go has never guaranteed prizes for consolation tables. We have only been able to provide prizes due to third party assistance and have not been able to guarantee prize consistency. During the Mile High event on 7/16 no additional prizes were provided for the consolation table, therefore the additional chips were awarded by Casino Party USA as the prize. If you attend a future poker event, the voucher will be accepted. In the future we will announce if any prizes will be awarded at consolation tables and what those prizes may be. If there is ever anything that we can address for you please let us know. The only way we can make these events more successful is by hearing feedback from you. Thank you again for your post.
